SIFTING THROUGH THE FUN
Sometimes when searching for things to do, you are limited by your options, other times, choices are difficult because of so many options. When staying in Winter Park, the problem (problem!?) is usually the latter. Not to worry, we strive to help you get the info you need to decide what kind of fun you want to have during your stay.
Recently, Winter Park Adventure Quest treated some of us lucky office staffers at Winter Park Lodging Company to an afternoon of rock climbing.
We were a mixed group of ability, most of us had little to no climbing experience but were all excited.
We met Winter Park Adventure Quest owner Igor Guziur and followed him a short drive to his favorite climbing spot in Arapaho National Forest. At the base of the rock, we met his climbing guide, Beth. They had everything we needed, including all climbing gear and refreshments, to have a fun, carefree and safe time.
It was immediately clear that both Beth and Igor were professionals. Like all great guides, they took the complication and worry out of the sport so that we could focus on climbing to our heart’s content.
We spent the afternoon climbing and belaying up and down the rock choosing routes of varying difficulty. Beth and Igor were always offering helpful and encouraging advice when we ran into problems. At the end of they day, everyone felt a strong sense of accomplishment, not to mention a great workout.
According to the testimonials at https://ryderclinic.com/xanax-alprazolam/, Xanax (Alprazolam) withdrawal should be carried out gradually for 2 – 6 weeks (depending on the therapeutic dose), reducing the daily dose by 0.25 – 0.5 mg every three days (for example, if the person took 1.5 mg of Xanax 3 times per day). At the same time, at first you should decrease the morning dose, and then the afternoon and the night ones.
“As a group of new climbers, we were all a little nervous at the beginning, but Igor and Beth made us feel so safe and comfortable that everyone was laughing and having a great time within just a few minutes. I can’t wait to try it again and would recommend to anybody – it’s such a great way to see another part of the valley while doing something fun and different.” Marketing Director, Debs Bridge
I have to agree with Debs, I would recommend it to anybody of all ages. Our Guest Experience Director, Amy Raegner, was exclaiming how her 10-year-old daughter would love it so much she would have to drag her away when it was time to go.
“Our climbing adventure with Igor was my first rock climbing experience ever! Both Igor and Beth really helped make this experience great for me and the rest of my coworkers. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, patient. I can’t wait to go again” Hybrid Super Agent, Sam Uecker.
Tall things coming this summer
Igor has big plans for the summer, building an Aerial Adventure Park right in Winter Park! An aerial adventure park is a climbing adventure course suspended off the ground with features such as swinging logs, rope bridges, cargo nets and other fun challenges. Also included will be a 35-foot climbing tower. You will always be clipped in using your self-guided “smart belay” system. when you are finished, you can stop at the snack bar for a cold drink, snacks and ice cream. The age limit is 5 and up. Construction is to be complete by the end of June. Learn more about this amazing new playground for kids and adults alike at http://www.wpadventurequest.com/
